The City of Lakeland is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached between Lakeland Linder International Airport (LAL), Visit Central Florida, and Avelo Airlines that paves the way for the return of commercial passenger air service to LAL.

There is still much work to be done before air service starts, which includes an expanded security screening checkpoint, parking lot modifications, and new aircraft apron markings among other improvements.

If a passenger requires an escort due to disability or age an escort may be allowed to accompany them to the boarding area. Please speak with one of your airline's ticketing agents upon check-in to obtain a security pass.
